Lance Sandage

With close to 30 years of experience in the legal field, founder of Sandage Law, Lance Sandage has dedicated his career to assisting clients with a wide range of legal matters. He began his journey in 1995 by establishing his own law firm after gaining invaluable experience as a partner in a boutique law firm. Lance took a small sabbatical from that firm in 2012 and worked for another small firm. In 2014, he returned to building his own law firm.

Lance's passion for helping others and his commitment to excellence are evident in his daily work. As the head of Sandage Law, he not only represents clients but also oversees the firm's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. His favorite aspect of working at Sandage Law is the opportunity to connect with clients on a personal level, fostering strong relationships built on trust and understanding.

Educationally, Lance holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Oklahoma. He pursued his passion for law by attending Oklahoma City University, where he was a distinguished member of the Law Review. Lance's dedication to his profession is further demonstrated by his admission to practice law in multiple jurisdictions, including Missouri, Kansas, and various federal courts.

Lance had the privilege of learning the intricacies of legal practice from his father, Larry Sandage, a seasoned attorney. He attributes much of his success to his father's mentorship and emphasizes the importance of building strong client relationships and tirelessly advocating for their needs.

Beyond his legal practice, Lance is actively involved in his community. He serves on the Executive Board of Sheffield Place in Kansas City, an organization dedicated to empowering homeless mothers and their children to achieve self-sufficiency. Lance is a volunteer attorney in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri's Intensive Treatment Court. Additionally, he supports local schools and student-athletes through financial contributions and volunteerism.

In his free time, Lance prioritizes spending quality moments with his family, whether it's watching movies, traveling, or cheering on his children at sporting events. When he's not with his family, he enjoys unwinding on the golf course, embracing the balance between professional dedication and personal fulfillment. Lance's commitment to his clients, community, and family speaks to the way he approaches being a lawyer.
